Currently, we are looking for an experienced developer to lead a development team in building new minimum viable products (MVP) as well as new features for our existing platform. This is an exciting opportunity for an adaptable developer to work with an established product and launch it across new customer verticals. This position brings with it an opportunity to build out new architectures and solve scalability (and data!) challenges.
This position will begin remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions, but you must be based in or near Austin, TX so you can work with us in the office once it's safe to do so.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing component-based applications using the .Net Framework, .NET Core, and React
- Defining system requirements flows and interfaces based on customer needs
- Developing software requirements specifications; project and risk management plans; and project timelines
- Developing test scripts and conducting testing
- Adhering to agile methodologies while continuously analyzing processes for improved performance and adaptability
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with the project team members and customer's management team
Minimum Requirements:
- Experienced in .NET development required(.NET Framework 4.x with MVC and Entity Framework).NET Core experience preferred
- REST API building skills, CRUD
- Experience with development methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and tools (Jira)
- Experience working with CI and CD
- Excellent understanding of data access (ORM, data-oriented design patterns); working with MS SQL Server and MySQL via SQL queries and ORM
- Knowledge of service-oriented development approach (SOA, microservices)
- Debugging skills and ability to navigate and improve an already written code
- Strong experience working with Git
- Good communication skills and the ability to figure out requirements proactively
- Plus: any experience working with Kubernetes or Rancher, AWS; writing deployment scripts and managing deployments
